What we do
We find where the water is actually getting in — which is not always directly above the damp patch — then explain the repair and put it right. Water can travel along felt and timbers before it shows inside, so the first job is tracing it properly. Once we know the cause, we talk you through what the repair involves before any work is agreed.

The damp patch is not directly below the damage — is that normal?
Yes. Water often travels along timbers or felt before it shows inside. Part of the job is tracing it back to where it is actually getting in.
Will you need to come inside the house?
Sometimes a look in the loft helps confirm where water is getting in. We will always ask first.
