Questions
Everything people ask us
How do I request a quotation?
Call 07749 175194, email info@rwsroofing.co.uk or use the quote form on the Contact page. Quotations are free and without obligation.
What should I include in my enquiry?
Your name, how you would like to be contacted, the town or postcode of the property and a short description of what you have noticed.
Which areas do you cover?
RWS Roofing works in Morayshire, the Highlands and Islands. If you are unsure whether your property is covered, just ask.
What kind of roofing work can I ask about?
Repairs, new roofs, chimneys and leadwork, slate and flat roofing, ridges and roofline, and roof cleaning or inspections. If you are not sure what you need, choose “Not sure” on the form.
Can a leak be repaired without replacing the whole roof?
Often, yes. Many leaks come from a single failed slate, tile or piece of flashing. We trace where the water is actually getting in and explain the options.
How do I know whether to repair or replace my roof?
That is what the inspection is for. We look at the whole roof and talk you through both options honestly — if a repair is the sensible choice, we will say so.
What should I do after storm damage?
Stay off the roof, take photos from the ground, limit water getting inside where you safely can, and call us with what you can see.
Do you remove moss from roofs?
Yes — cleared properly by hand or with suitable tools, with the gutters cleared afterwards. We will advise whether your roof would benefit.
How much does a new roof cost?
Every roof is different. Size, materials, access and the condition of the timbers all shape the price. We provide free, no-obligation quotations so you get a real figure for your roof.
Do you work on flat roofs?
Yes — flat roofs on extensions, garages and garden rooms, as well as traditional slate and tiled roofs.
Need your roof looked at?
Free, no-obligation quotations for homes in Morayshire, the Highlands and Islands.
