A ridge fixed mechanically rather than bedded in mortar. We can discuss whether it suits your roof.
Do you do guttering?
Yes — along with fascias and soffits.
Why does ridge mortar keep falling out?
Mortar weathers over time, especially on exposed roofs. Re-bedding or a dry ridge system are the usual options — we will explain both.
What are fascias and soffits?
The boards along the edge of your roof — fascias face outwards and carry the guttering, soffits face downwards. Damaged boards can let weather and birds in.
My gutters overflow in heavy rain — is that a roof problem?
It is often a blockage or a guttering issue rather than the roof itself. Clearing and repairing guttering is part of this service.
