Ridge, Fascia & Guttering Repairs in Nairn

Ridges & Roofline for Nairn homes

As a coastal town, Nairn roofs face salt spray and exposed winds, which wear flashing, fixings and ridge mortar faster than inland roofs. The edges of the roof take the worst of it — loose ridge tiles, tired fascias and soffits, and gutters that overflow. We re-bed or fit dry ridge systems and renew roofline boards and guttering.

Nairn's older fishertown and seafront properties are largely slate, with a mix of tiled and flat roofs across the rest of the town.

What we cover

• Ridge inspection and re-bedding
• Dry ridge upgrades
• Fascia and soffit repairs and replacement
• Gutter repairs, realignment and replacement

Signs to look out for

• Loose or cracked ridge tiles
• Mortar falling from the ridge
• Rotten or damaged fascias and soffits
• Overflowing or leaking gutters
• Birds getting into the roof space at the eaves

How we work

We inspect the ridge and roofline, re-bed or upgrade ridges where needed, and repair or replace fascias, soffits and guttering — from a single leaking joint to a full roofline renewal. Where a ridge is bedded in mortar that keeps failing, we can talk through a dry ridge upgrade as an alternative. As a ridges and roofline company working across Moray, Inverness and the Highlands, we see every day what the weather does to the edges of a roof.

What affects the cost

• The length of ridge or roofline involved
• Whether ridges are re-bedded or upgraded to dry ridge
• The condition of existing fascias and soffits
• Access around the property
