New Roofs in Forres

New Roofs for Forres homes

Forres has many traditional stone and slate buildings alongside newer tiled housing. We assess the whole roof and give you an honest view on whether a replacement is the right move.

Forres has plenty of traditional stone and slate buildings, plus newer housing with tiled roofs and flat-roofed extensions.

What we cover

• Full roof replacement
• Roof upgrades
• Advice on repair versus replacement

Signs to look out for

• Repeated repairs needed in different places
• Many slipped, cracked or missing slates or tiles
• Sagging or uneven roof lines
• Widespread moss and worn coverings
• An older roof that has never been replaced

How we work

We look at the condition of the whole roof, talk through whether repair or replacement makes more sense, and explain what a new roof would involve for your home. If a repair is the sensible option, we will say so. If replacement is the better long-term choice, we explain the work clearly and provide a free, no-obligation quotation before anything is agreed.

What affects the cost

• The size and shape of the roof
• The covering material you choose
• The condition of the timbers underneath
• Access and any scaffolding needed

Quotations are free and without obligation. See the full new roofs service page or read more about roofing in Forres.
